Man slashed teen girl in unprovoked Bronx subway attack: cops

A man slashed a 19-year-old girl in the head during an unprovoked attack on a Bronx subway car, cops said.

The teen was on a northbound 6 train at 138th Street in Mott Haven at around 10 p.m. Wednesday, when she noticed the man acting erratically and staring at her, police said. Uncomfortable, she got up and changed cars at the station, but the man followed her.

Upon entering the front car, he jumped on her and slashed her in the head and arm with a sharp object, and then ran off at the Brooke Ave subway stop, cops said.

The teen was taken to Lincoln Hospital to be treated and was released.
